Tutorial for Regno.se
Your first login. Regno is a new and revolutionary type of card game. It has a totally unique set of rules for how the game is played, and it would be impossible to build this card game with regular cards! Regno has cards that can be merged toghether to become another type of card, cards that have super-powers that can only be used a fixed amount of times, permanent boostercards and so on.
The main idea is that you play the game against one or several opponents on a virtual board of squares where you can place your cards. Each card has four different strengths, one in each direction. Some cards have special abilities that stretch beyond that. There are also special magic cards. They can be used to alter a card during gameplay or permanently!
When you first log in you will have a normal account, which means you can only play free matches. Try a few of these before you decide to upgrade to premium. As a premium user you will be able to set up games with ante and prices, and you will also be able to join a clan, and play with your friends. Or why not create a clan of your own! But remember that you can also play the game totally for free as long as you like!
Let's first go over the site so you can get a better overview of what you can do.
Startpage Here you have all new information, and what the Gamemaster is currently doing. Read here to see what is going on and what new improvements are coming along. And for the latest released card you can also look on the startpage.
Edit your decks From here is where you control your deck or decks, since you can have more than one. You can create, delete or modify your decks here. You can edit the colour and name of the deck without having to change any of the cards in it. To create a new deck you simply have to press "Create", and then you can chose which cards you want in the deck by clicking "Modify Deck": Remember that if you already have an existing deck, the cards within will be locked to that deck, so you can't use the same card for both your decks. When you first start to modify your new deck, you will be on the page to add cards to it. On this page is also a link to "Remove Cards".
When you are satisfied with the cards, click "Modify Deck" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.(remember that a deck needs to contain between 30 and 100 cards) If the deck is unplayable it will be displayed with red text. This can either be the cause of too many magic-cards, to few cards in total, or too many cards in total. A warning will also be given out if your deckstrength is higher than 10, but you can still play with that deckstrength provided you can find an adversary.
Merge cards You can merge cards by taking a few or several of your basic cards, and use them together to create a new better card. When you have at least one card required for a merge, you will see what is required to merge the card in full.
For example; If you have at least one archer, you will see that you can merge an Archer Group. Some cards require several different types of cards to be merged, and some cards require already merged cards to be available. When you have all the required cards needed for the merge, it will be highlighted in green, and you will have the option to merge this card.
The cards used for the merge will then disappear from your stack of cards, and the new card will be there instead. Ready to be played.
All your cards Here you have an overview of all the cards you currently own. Cards that are in one of your decks is displayed in the colour of the deck they are in, and cards that are not in any of your decks will be displayed in grey. From here you are able to sell and delete your cards, as well as see information about each of our cards. To see information about a card, you simple click the blue little info-square . A popup will display that card in full.

To sell or delete a card you should click the brown E-square . There will be a different popup now, and here you have the choices of deleting 1, 10, 20, 30, 40 or even 50 cards at once. When you delete 10 cards you get 2 tokens. It is a good way of deleting cards that are weak or that you don’t need. But watch out a lot of weak cards can make one good card by merging them. You can also chose to place a card, or several, on the market for a price.
New Match Here you can set up your own games. There are three choices: Beginner, Normal and Advanced.
In the beginnermode special abilities and magic is disabled, and this type of game is for you to learn how to handle the board.
In the normal mode Magic and Special abilities is enabled, but you still don’t have the options that you have under advanced mode.
In the advanced mode you can adjust almost all the settings. You play with magic and Abilities enabled
When you have created your own game, your match is private. That is the default mode for all matches recently created. To make it public you have to go to “All your matches” click “Make public”. Of course, you could also keep the match private, and manually invite players either by typing in their nickname in the box at “All matches” or invite them from their accountpage.
All Matches: Here are all matches that you are involved in, and also any invitations from other players. If you are the creator of a match, your match will be on top, and you will have a few commands to your disposal as well. If two or more players have agreed on a match, the creator has to click on "Start this match" for the game to commence. After that, all players involved should click on "Open board" and the game is afoot.
Public Matches: Here are all the public matches available, and you should be free to join any of them. Just remember to check the settings on the match before you accept them. Some players play for cards, and some don't. All matches currently in play is also displayed here, and those matches are already running, so you can not join them. You can however spectate them if you like. Please try not to interrupt the gameplay with Spam if you do spectate a game, especially not when there are cards at stake.
Game play: The concept of the game is fairly simple. The one with the most cards in his or her favour when the board is full wins. The board can be of various sizes: Small (4*3 squares), Medium (6*4 squares), Large (8*4 squares), and Epic ( 9*6 squares). Some of these squares are occupied by rocks, that no player can lay a card upon.
A large board:

Cards are played in turns, which means you and your opponent(s) take turns placing a card on the board. Usually there is just one card played each turn, but magic-cards is the exception to this: Any number of magic-cards can be played at any time in your own turn. (You can never play a card in your opponent’s turn)
The cards you play upon the board has four sides, and a number on each side. These numbers represent your creature’s strength in that direction. You can turn your creature in any direction using the turn-symbol that is located in the lower left corner of each card. If you are playing a normal or advanced match there will be other symbols on the cards as well. If one of your cards has Heroism for example, they will have a "strong arm"-symbol , which you can use to double the strength on all four sides of that card! A magic-card has the picture of a trashcan in their lower right, which can be used to scrap that card if you do not want to use it. (Scrapping a magic-card makes you skip your turn!)
A higher number strikes a lower number.
Example:
This is a common farmer. As you can see he has a 2 in the front, and 1s to both his sides. Nothing protecting him from the rear.
This is an archer. He has a 3 in the front and 1s to his other sides. Let us assume your opponent has started the game by playing a farmer on the board. You can now place your archer next to him, and if you can reach the back of the farmer (that has a 0 in strength) you can simply take the farmer with your archer facing any direction. If the farmer is placed in a corner, or between two blocks of rock, then your archer can be turned so it has the 3 facing the farmer.
The archer then takes over the farmer, and making it yours. The turn comes to your opponent again. When he board is full, the cards are counted and the one with he most cards in his or hers colour wins the game.
Magic: The finer advancements of the game, making it totally random, and extremely fun. Magic-cards can do practically anything from giving your own creature more defence, killing a creature right of, taking over an opponents creature and making it your own, and disabling spellcasting altogether! In the example above we used two humans as creatures. But let us say that your opponent plays a Gigantic Spider next to your archer, and stealing it from you, and you have would like to play a spider of yourself on the board, but you see that your spider isn't strong enough to take your opponents Spider by himself.

But you do have a magic-card called Fleas (–1) on your hand, and Fleas (–1) makes monsters smaller, and can even kill them!
So you first play the Fleas, reducing the Gigantic Spider to a smaller creature with 1 all around. Now place your Spider next to it.

Now place your Spider next to it.

Gameplay explanation:

Your account Here is your own information. Your name, age and various other informations is displayed here. There is also some personal information, that only you can see, your current amount of tokens, and what kind of boosterpacks you have bought for example. As a Premium user you can edit your profile even more, and add pictures of yourself, and your favourite card. To become a Premium user you have to buy at least one boosterpack, and boosterpacks is bought with tokens, but remember that you can always play the game for free.
Buy tokens Here you have information about how to buy your tokens. Postgiro are for Swedish players only. The easiest way is to use PayPal, but Cash through Mail and Direct Banktransfers works just as well. Now, when you have received your first tokens for the game it's time to buy a boosterpack and become a Premium User!
Boosterpacks Here you can see the four different kinds of boosterpacks you can buy. Please only click Buy once, because you can buy two packs in doing so, and then you will miss to see what is in the first pack. Now that you have bought your first boosterpack you are a premium user, and has access to more options than before, but the first thing you should take a look at is "Edit your decks" since you now have new cards to play with.
Buy cards Here you can buy cards for tokens. All cards for sale will be displayed in their categories, and to see what cards are available you simply click the desired category. The cheapest price for a card will be two (2) tokens. From all sales there will be a trade-deduction of 5%, or one token(when 5% is less than one token). The trade deduction is paid by the player who puts the card on sale. So when you buy a card that is worth 2 tokens you pay 2 tokens and the player that puts the card on sale gets 2 tokens. And the inverse when you put a card on sale for 2 token and the other buys it for 2 tokens. Then he pays 2 tokens and you get one. A card you buy will instantly be placed in your stack of cards, and will be ready to be played with.
